Sector: Equity Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)

Australian Unity Office Fund is an ASX-listed real estate investment trust currently in the process of winding up its operations following unitholder approval to dispose of its main undertaking. The fund has sold three of its four office properties located in Canberra, Melbourne, and Parramatta, retaining only 150 Charlotte Street in Brisbane as its sole remaining asset. Following a purchaser default on the sale contract for the Brisbane property, the fund has terminated the agreement, retained the $4.8 million deposit, and is marketing the property for sale before delisting and distributing net proceeds to unitholders.
